UK campsite fees for motorhomes

Campsite prices change with the date and the site, so there is no single number to quote. What is published is how the price is built, and that tells you what to ask.

How a club pitch is priced

The Caravan Club (the Caravan and Motorhome Club) says its sites are priced per pitch per night, plus per adult and per child aged 5–171. prices include electricity (unless stated) and VAT1, and infants under 5, dogs and awnings are free1.

SupplementPer night
Non-members£15 a night non-member supplement1
Serviced pitch£4.90 a night supplement for a serviced pitch1

If you are hiring a motorhome for a single trip and will stay mostly on club sites, compare the non-member supplement across your nights with the cost of joining. The calculator has a tick box that adds the supplement for every campsite night.

Other kinds of site

  • Other clubs and independent sites set their own prices per night; many add charges per person or for electric hook-up.
  • Ferry ports and city stays: if you need to drive into a city with a Clean Air Zone to reach a site, see ULEZ and Clean Air Zones.

Enter the nightly price from your booking in the calculator; it starts empty on purpose, because we will not guess a campsite price.

Work out your own trip: open the motorhome hire calculator. It starts with sourced defaults and leaves the rest for your quote.
